Pickled Red Onions
- 2 medium red onions, halved and thinly sliced
- 1 dl apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. salt
- Peel and slice the onions into thin slices.
- Boil the vinegar, lime, sugar and salt in a saucepan.
- Pour the liquid over the onion slices. Let cool and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
